The Supremacy of Christ's Authority

Some circumstances feel overwhelming because we forget who is ultimately in control. Jesus declared that all authority in heaven and earth belongs to Him. Nothing is outside His rule.

The situation that worries you is not bigger than Jesus. The person you fear is not greater than Jesus. The future you cannot see is not outside His authority.

This doesn't mean everything will happen the way we want. It means we can trust Christ regardless of what happens. We don't have to control everything because we were never meant to.

When anxiety rises, we can pray. When we cannot see the future, we can trust. When circumstances are beyond our control, we can remember that they are never beyond Christ's authority.

Scripture:
Matthew 28:18 - "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth."

Application:

• What is one situation you are struggling to control.

• Give it to God in prayer.

• When anxiety returns, remind yourself: "Jesus is Lord over this too."

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You that You have all authority. Help me surrender the things I cannot control and trust You with them. Give me peace when life feels uncertain and help me remember that nothing is beyond Your rule.
