Live Like You Have It

The truth is, we can know that God is faithful and still live afraid. We can know that we belong to Him and still allow our past to define us. We can know His power is available and still depend entirely on ourselves. We can know Jesus is Lord and still try to control everything.

The goal isn't simply to know these truths. The goal is to live them.

If we believe God is faithful, we can trust Him. If we believe we belong to Him, we don't have to earn our worth. If we believe His Spirit is with us, we can depend on His strength. If we believe Jesus is Lord, we can surrender control.

 
You don't have to spend your life searching for what God has already provided in Christ.
 
Scripture:
Colossians 2:6-7 - Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. 
 
Application:

• Review the previous four days.

• Identify the truth that impacted you most.

• Choose one specific way you will live that truth out today.

• Thank God for what you already have in Christ.

 
Prayer:
Father, thank You for all You have given me in Christ. Open my eyes so I don't simply hear Your truth but live it. Help me live with hope, confidence, strength, and peace because I belong to You. Keep me from searching for what You have already provided. Help me live like I know what I have in Christ.
