Living for His Glory

The final truth in this passage brings everything together: our identity in Christ ultimately exists for the praise of His glory. We are saints, blessed, chosen, and adopted—not for our own recognition, but to reflect the grace of God. This shifts the focus of our lives from self-centered living to God-centered purpose.
 
It is easy to make faith about personal benefit—what we gain, how we grow, or what God does for us. While those things are real, they are not the ultimate goal. God’s grace is meant to point beyond us to Him. Our transformed lives become testimonies of His goodness.
 
This perspective changes how we approach daily living. Ordinary moments become opportunities to reflect God’s character. Acts of kindness, faithfulness in difficulty, and obedience in unseen places all contribute to a life that honors Him. When we understand that our lives are meant to display His grace, even challenges take on new meaning.
 
We did nothing to earn our position in Christ, which makes His generosity even more powerful. Grace becomes the foundation of both our identity and our purpose. Living for His glory is not about striving—it is about responding.
