Blessed Beyond Measure

After establishing our identity, Paul moves into the reality of our spiritual blessings. Ephesians 1:3 declares that we have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ. This is not a future promise alone—it is a present reality.

 
These blessings are not material or temporary; they are eternal and rooted in our relationship with Christ. Yet we often overlook them because we are conditioned to measure blessing by worldly standards. When circumstances are difficult, we may question whether we are truly blessed.
 
The challenge is not receiving these blessings but recognizing and living in them. God has already equipped us to live godly lives, but we often remain grounded by doubt, fear, or misplaced focus. Renewing our minds to the truth of what we have in Christ changes how we approach life. Instead of striving, we begin abiding. Instead of lacking, we begin living from abundance.
 
Today is an opportunity to shift your perspective—to see your life not through what is missing, but through what has already been given in Christ.

• Thank God for each one specifically.

• Reflect on how these blessings impact your current circumstances.

 
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for blessing me with everything I need in Christ. Forgive me for focusing on what I lack instead of what You’ve given. Open my eyes to recognize Your provision and help me live in the fullness of Your blessings each day.
