Living with Peace and Purpose
God never designed our lives to run on constant
exhaustion. He designed them for steady peace and real purpose. In Psalm 23,
the sheep resting in green pastures beside quiet waters aren't just calm, they're
thriving.
The same is true for us. When we learn to stop striving,
trust what God provides, and stay close to His presence, something in us starts
to shift. Stress and fear stop driving the car. Instead, we're walking in step
with the Shepherd.
That kind of change rarely happens all at once. It's
built one small choice at a time, pausing to rest, opening Scripture, listening
for His voice. Over time, those small practices become a rhythm, and that
rhythm becomes a life marked by real peace.
Scripture:
Matthew 11:28 - Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Application:
· Practice this rhythm: Stop, Look, Listen.
· Stop:
Pause and rest in God's presence.
· Look:
Spend time in His Word.
· Listen:
Pay attention to what He's saying.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for inviting me into a life of peace and purpose. Help me walk closely with You each day. Teach me to stop, look, and listen, so I can live fully in Your presence.
