What Feels Like A Problem May Be A Platform

God often works through circumstances we would never choose. Throughout Scripture, we see Him using detours, delays, and difficulties as platforms for His purpose.
 
Joseph’s journey to leadership began with betrayal. Ruth’s story of redemption began in loss. Paul’s unexpected stop became a place of healing and ministry.
 
This challenges our assumptions about how God works. We tend to believe that purpose comes through planned, comfortable, and predictable paths. But God often uses the unexpected. The place you didn’t plan to be may be the exact place God wants to use you.
 
Philippians reminds us that even imprisonment advanced the gospel. This reveals a critical truth: effectiveness is not determined by comfort; it is determined by obedience.
 
We may resist where we are because it feels inconvenient or unfair. But what if that very place is filled with opportunities we cannot yet see?
 
God’s plans are bigger than our preferences. When we surrender our expectations, we begin to see His purpose unfold in surprising ways.

• Reflect on a situation you didn’t choose.

• Ask: “How might God want to use me here?”

 
Prayer:
God, help me to trust You in the places I didn’t choose. Open my eyes to the opportunities around me. Use my life, even in unexpected situations, to reflect Your goodness.
