When Jesus Changes Everything
Throughout Scripture,
genuine encounters with God result in unmistakable transformation. Moses meets
God at the burning bush and is never the same. Isaiah sees the Lord in His
holiness and is undone. In the New Testament, we see that when Jesus truly enters
a life, He does not leave it untouched. This is not about minor improvement or
behavior modification—it is about complete renewal.
Many people today are
comfortable with a version of faith that adjusts a few habits or softens a few
rough edges. But that is not the pattern we see in Scripture. A real encounter
with Christ reshapes identity, priorities, and direction. The challenge is that
transformation requires surrender, and surrender is where we tend to hesitate.
We prefer control. We want Jesus to improve our lives, not redefine them.
A real encounter with
Jesus brings conviction and change. It may not always be dramatic, but it will
always be real.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for pursuing me and meeting me where I am. Help me not to settle for a shallow faith. Change me from the inside out and give me the courage to surrender every part of my life to You.

- Identify one area of your life where you are resisting transformation.
- Pray specifically for God to work change in that area.
Lord, thank You for pursuing me and meeting me where I am. Help me not to settle for a shallow faith. Change me from the inside out and give me the courage to surrender every part of my life to You.
