Trusting God When Life Feels Uncertain
There are moments in
life when everything feels unstable. Plans fall apart, circumstances shift, and
the future seems unclear. Yet, even in those moments, God calls His people to
trust Him. This tension between uncertainty and trust is not new—it runs throughout
Scripture.
As Christians, we
often struggle when God’s promises don’t seem to align with our current
reality. This can lead to doubt, fear, and even frustration. However, trust is
not built on clarity—it is built on confidence in God’s character. God sees the
full picture, while we only see a small part. What feels like chaos to us is
not outside of His control.
Trusting God in
uncertainty is essential because it deepens our faith and shifts our dependence
from ourselves to Him. It teaches us to walk by faith and not by sight. When we
choose to trust Him, even when things don’t make sense, we are declaring that God
is greater than our circumstances. This kind of faith honors Him and
strengthens us for the journey ahead.
Scripture:
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

faith, not by sight.
