Staying Rooted in the Gospel
At the center of our
faith is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without it, there is no
hope, no salvation, and no future promise. The gospel is not just a message we
believe—it is the foundation of everything we are and everything we share.
As believers, it is
easy to become distracted by secondary issues or debates. While these may have
importance, they should never overshadow the core truth of the gospel. An
effective witness keeps the focus on Jesus—His death, His resurrection, and the
new life He offers.
The resurrection is
what gives us confidence. It assures us that sin has been defeated and that
eternal life is available to all who believe. This truth is not only
powerful—it is essential. When we keep our message centered on the gospel, we
offer others the hope they truly need.
Living rooted in the
gospel also transforms our daily lives. It shapes our perspective, our
priorities, and our purpose. As we remain grounded in this truth, our witness
becomes clearer and more impactful.
